Trump's phone calls with foreign leaders raise alarms
  • What alarms? What fucking alarms?

An alarm that warns of exactly nothing? Nothing is ever going to happen to him or his evil goons. Just get used to the idea that Trump will do whatever he wants to do and nothing can restrain him.

Getting sick of these stories that act like Trump just might do something out of the ordinary. He's a cancer on the body politic and nothing he will do should be a shock. He's already told us what he's going to do, and if you think that it might be alarming at this point, then you haven't been paying attention.

  • Russian ruble
  • I was referring to the "no longer" bit. You have to go a very long way back to see a significant change. They were already in a very deep hole. They are just continuing to dig.

  • Man, you are sitting there all pent-up with impotent rage, aren't you?

Back to the point. You dolts elected a bigger dolt to be your leader. It's nobody's fault but your own. No need to take it out on the rest of humanity. Just pay homage to your elected boss in the knowledge that all us stupid idiots would never have the intelligence to elect Trump. You absolute geniuses.

  • What's with all the personal insults? Seriously, are you 11 years old?

Either that or you might be a new recruit from Reddit. If that's the case, welcome friend. We try not to do that shit over here. 😀

  • How American of you to assume that I am unqualified to have an opinion about the US supporting a genocide in the Middle East. Should the rest of the world just look the other way?

Nobody is arguing that Trump isn't a disaster. However, your country elected the bastard, so it's fundamentally your fucking problem. A problem you guys are also inflicting on the rest of us.

Having said that, I agree with many of the points you are making.

  • I'm not American, so our perspectives will always be different. From where the rest of the world is sitting, Americans have never given a tin shit about natural justice or respect for another country's autonomy. You guys have been in the coup business for over a hundred years. How many governments have been overthrown because they weren't compliant enough, not friendly enough to your corporate interests or simply standing in the way of your geopolitical ambitions? Pacific islands blown apart or outright stolen, dark money handed to murderous dictators, killer regimes installed and resources sucked away. Spare me the rationalism about one particular brand of domestic American politics being slightly less worse than the other. If your country is balls deep in the misery of what's going on in Palestine already, there won't be too many left to murder when Trump takes office in January.

    Coke or Pepsi, feller.

  • European tech CEOs urge 'Europe-first' mentality to counter U.S. dominance after Trump victory
  • I guess the rest of the world better come up with a plan to deal with a Trump dominated US. Every single day it seems to be getting worse and he's not even in charge as yet.

America can lecture us on how we respond to a dangerous hegemony, but first it better put a few safety pins back into its own machinery. Europe has first hand experience with strong men with a mission. Just building a passive Maginot Line didn't seem to work last time.

  • The trouble with this graphic is that millennials are part of the problem now. The oldest are over forty. We've all seen the footage of Jan 6th. There were very few boomers in their 60 and 70s.

  • Young people are struggling to deal with their MAGA parents — again
  • According to everything I've read, Trump was voted in by every demographic in swing states and even non-swing states.

I know that it's a instinctive flex to dump on boomers (with good reason) but this calls for a bit more of a deeper analysis.
