  • I just moved here from FL, and for all the insanity down there, even FL didn't have spider throwers. Property taxes and homeowners insurance are even higher down there, she should go down there and bring her spiders. Floridians might be more receptive to these shenanigans.

  • All the other brands went along
  • This is nonsense, you don't just need an "adapter" to convert a 3.5mm to USB-C. What you talking about is a DAC or external soundcard. Just because they can make them small doesn't make it an adapter and since the laptop clearly already has a DAC and amplifier since it has working speakers, it is silly to make me buy another, especially since the majority of external tiny DACs sounds like crap and are underpowered.

  • I love SNES
  • Yeah, I suppose that was true in the 80s and 90s for sure. Now that I think about it, I can name a several right off the top of my head and probably every Final Fantasy game was like that until 7 or at least 8.

  • Anon gets home from a long day at work
  • Accurate. I love hot sauces, but I have had to tell friends and family to never buy me hot sauce because chances are it will suck or be samey. Especially those gift packs they push around the holidays.

  • I love SNES
  • Look into Lufia 2, it is one of the rare cases of a sequel being shockingly better than the first game. It is the only SNES RPG I put in the same class as those from Square or Enix, and I like it more than most of those.

  • How are people so chill about co-workers stealing food?
  • Theft of both food and desk items was a huge issue at two different large office jobs I had. In the second one, HR and management didn't care until someone stole the electronics from the break room and they finally put up cameras. I think the correlation is that those big offices had large phone sales and support staff that works in the building. Those roles underpaid, under-appreciated, and have high turnover. I can definitely see some of those people being on their last rope and not giving a shit about stealing from either the company or people they feel have "cushy" jobs.
