What are your schools doing for hot lunches this year?

Are your schools doing anything beyond pizza? Once a month, once a week?

Here’s the elementary school lunch menu for October

Generally repeats every 3-4 weeks.
- Nachos is a food group and a complete meal
- Where is this (generally, obviously), that your kid has the choice of meat substitute any time there's a meat main? Both my kids are vegetarian and of there's a meat main, they are getting sunbutter sandwiches.
  
  This is in MA, though, where we have universal school lunches.
  
  California, universal school lunch. Suburban district with ~1200 students across 3 elementary schools.
- I assume your school has a cafeteria then? Not the case for my school. It seems to be a struggle to get even one hot lunch going. At this point, we might not have anything set up until mid November.
  
  The district has one central kitchen, and each school serves from steam trays and insulated cabinets.
I hesitate to share this, because it's a little depressing, funny, but depressing.

Aren't all meals hot? I'm confused.
- Sorry this is a bit late, but for example, a bologna sandwich is a cold lunch, whereas pasta is a hot lunch. Not all meals are hot.
  
  I see, thank you. Where I am school lunches are 3 -course hot meals, period, and I never questionned it. There'd be public outcries and newspapers articles if they gave kids a bologna sandwich.
