But then I'd have to work around other blue collar dudes in my region, which is... unappealing.

HubertManne @moist.catsweat.com is this surprising to folks. people if not attending or teaching in the class are largely in the lab without a whole lot of time for a personal life. Its the reason big tech has foozball tables.
