The article tells you it's a repair of a wash out. So it absolutely does have a connection.
Just go ahead and call the fire department now. It'll save everyone time.
Thank you
Oh there were probably a few million of us muttering that.
I don't argue in favor of war. The Russians should go home. That would end the war then and there.
Oh they may have said they believed him. But they knew. And being a one time incident it's easy to dismiss.
Funny, conservatives would absolutely include telling parents how to raise their kids in the definition of a Nanny State.
So you do want a nanny state.
I've been to war already so you're barking up the wrong tree.
And no, the Russians have been caught raping, murdering, and pillaging. This isn't just some fight over who controls the region where the people never see a difference.
Somebody hasn't paid attention to what happens in Russian Occupied Zones. They aren't fighting for Zelensky.
I'm looking forward to their dream ship crashing into the rocky shoreline of reality.
Nah, Americans hate weakness. Just straight up dunking on him whenever they have to talk about America would work.
But what about those Parental Responsibilities you were talking about earlier? Are you saying we now need extra social safety nets for kids who don't fit the mold and get bullied? Extra places for them to learn and play under supervision? Because I don't think that's going to be economical without boarding them there, away from their parents.
Weird I'm on the same instance as the community and poster and I see no video.
Israel considers anyone returning to the area to be Hezbollah. Despite a cease fire meant to end the fighting they are still telling people it's off limits. Which means they will shoot at them. In order to justify that they'll call them Hezbollah in the international press.
Israel is used to controlling the information sphere and they still think they can blame their victims.
Mexico isn't going to be the one to lose a trade war. Thanks to NAFTA they are an integral part of our manufacturing chain and a huge food source. They can be poor, they've been poor before. Americans are going to lose it when groceries get even more expensive.
They need to do it so hard that Magats realize he's the laughing stock of the world. Imagine a world in which American news couldn't avoid running stories about how world leaders literally shun Trump. Would we abandon the entire world order? or would the American Oligarchs demand the 25th Amendment be used?
What? No! They can have their own age appropriate place to learn and play under supervision.
Sidebar Rules Are Updated
Several people pointed out that our rules for behavior weren't immediately apparent. While I would say this shouldn't be an issue in a community about posting new communities, I have been proven wrong on multiple occasions. So I have made the list in our sidebar. These are a paraphrasing of Mastodon.World's rules. So there is no functional change. We will continue to use their rules as a master list. But they boil down to being civil. If you don't like something or someone and have no constructive criticism, then you just move on.
I'm going to put changes here as well so people on apps can see them easier.
>The rules for behavior are a straight carry over of Mastodon.World’s rules. You can click the link but we’ve reposted them here in brief, as a guideline. We will continue to use the Mastodon.World rules as the master list. Over all, be nice to each other and remember this isn’t a community built around debate. For the rules about formatting your posts, scroll down to number 2.
>1. Follow the rules of Mastodon.world, which can be found here.(link)
>A. Provide an inclusive and supportive environment. This means if it isn’t rule breaking and we can’t be supportive to them then we probably shouldn’t engage.
>B. No illegal content.
>C. Use content warnings where appropriate. This means mark your submissions NSFW if need be.
>D. No uncivil behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: Name Calling; Bullying; Trolling; Disruptive Commenting; or Personal Criticisms.
>E. No Harrassment. As an example in relation to Transgender people this includes, deadnaming, misgendering, and promotion of conversion therapy. Similarly Misogyny, Misandry, and Racism are also banned here.
Civility in New Communities
Guys I understand there's big stuff going on in the world. This community though is really just about finding other communities. For now, on the theory that people kind of forgot where they were, some temp bans were handed out. I have no pretensions of this being c/news or something. But I also have no pretensions of this being c/news. It is absolutely beyond the pale to post your political broadsides here while people are trying to figure out the best place to have their community. The only way politics is acceptable here is if you're talking about opening or moving a community about politics or because of politics. And it should absolutely remain civil. A simple, "I don't like your ideology", is enough here.
Here we go again.

BEIJING (Reuters) -The United States on Tuesday pressed its call for military communication channels with China and signalled concern over reports that China plans a military training facility in Cuba following Secretary of State Antony Blinken's trip to Beijing over the weekend. The Biden administration wants to set up a deconfliction line with China in much the same way they set one up with Russia during the Cold War. They're also signaling that future cooperation may come in the financial sector or by refining sanctions by tapping the Treasury Secretary as one of the next US officials to meet with Chinese leaders. The Commerce Secretary may also be about looking for a ways to offset the US bringing chip production home.
