To be liberal was to be open an accepting socially. The americans have changed it to mean to allow anything economically which is then coupled with bigotry because division makes the rich richer, or at least stops them being lynched
Oh is it pronounced "Feelin'" not "Felon"? My bad
Good
Is that more or less than the Roblox currency this time?
John Phelan? Was he named by J K Rowling?
The American definition of Liberalism is the exact opposite of the original meaning, so maybe he was just being extra-oldschool?
Than the current batch of fascists? Yeah the Nazis were worse but yours have potential. I was referring to the idea that the parent claimed that those who didn't actively oppose the nazis were possibly worse than the nazis
Did he think that was a compliment?
The Nazis are worse. If you analogy the Nazis are very clearly worse. It's not even close. Yes those who didn't speak up should have if it was safe (or at least not too dangerous) for them to do so, but the Nazis are worse. By, like, a mile.
Because there are no consequences for them

Having installed both recently, Manjaro is slightly easier than Fedora (KDE spin), never tried to install Mint so I don't know if it's above or below that
Oh they don't want to cut military funding
Shove em all in the same cell, add one vaguely sharp rock, leave them there indefinitely
Genuinely made me actually laugh out loud
Will do, thanks
Brilliant, thank you!
Brilliant, thank you
Will check it out, thanks
Is there a Lemmy community for finding Lemmy communities?
I want to find fun, escapist, silly, and/or wordplay related communities, in particular
