We all good. My brother leans hard right and is super racist but he's also got the 'tism and we all know it, so we talk mad shit to his face when he starts up.
It's hard to take a guy seriously when he worships someone that would have sent him to the gas chambers.
I kind of enjoy these short weeks (at least here in the US). People bring in food and more time is spent socializing. And enough people are out that many meetings get canceled so I still get my work done even with the extra meal breaks.

LOL! Almost that exact phrase is what I use whenever my wife asks me why I'm peeing outside in my backyard instead of just going inside to the bathroom.
The pro-Trump editorial board of the New York Post, which met with Kennedy last year, wrote that his views amounted to a “head-scratching spaghetti of . . . warped conspiracy theories,” and concluded that “he’s nuts on a lot of fronts.” Kennedy has insinuated that H.I.V. isn’t the cause of AIDS, that Wi-Fi induces “leaky brain,” that chemicals in the water are responsible for “sexual dysphoria,” and that Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates led a cartel to prolong the covid pandemic and “amplify its mortal effects in order to promote their mischievous inoculations.”
He just needs to get off the wifi.
My exact thought. I could get up on the balls of my feet, but my ass is falling down those stairs, for sure, on the way down.
Very excited for this one to come back.
I thought of exactly the same anime. They were both fun, but not amazing. I'll give it a watch. I conceptually enjoy the "old guy" shows but I haven't seen one I felt like rewatching. Sasaki and Peeps is the closest with that theme I really enjoyed.

I also saw the clip on YouTube where he talked about it.
It's pretty broadly discussed online at this point. Pick your favorite search engine for additional articles on the matter.
What gymnastics? What message do you believe is being conveyed here?
People aren't all black and white. The more people try to demonize these guys and their viewers, the more credence is given to them when they say their detractors are out of touch or lying. When we make obviously disprovable things up about the right wingers, it destroys all credibility. There's real shit going on, and we need to stick to that.
At this point, the race is over. We need to learn from our mistakes, not double down on failed messaging.
He's didnt endorse him til the last minute. In fact he refused to, to Trump's face multiple times.
Harris was given many opportunities to come on the show but refused to do so under the same conditions her opponent did. Her team wanted to change the circumstances of the show too much and wouldn't come to him. Trump completely disregarded a preexisting obligation to go on his show.
If it were my show, I know who I would like better, putting politics aside. I feel like the Rogan episodes I've seen haven't really shown him to be conservative, but he platforms alot of conservatives which can be construed with him being conservative himself.
I think it's funny that anyone who actually talks about the show like they've heard a bunch of episodes gets downvoted while people just saying he's bad get up voted. It's more Lemmy echo chamber, in action.
It's also stupid expensive.
Clearly most people don't consider forced labor slavery in a prison environment. At least not in California or any of the other states that allow it.
I voted against it because I think they are plenty of prisoners that want to work, so we don't need to be forcing people, but I also understand how people could just consider it a part of the punishment too. I mean, you take away so many rights of a person when you imprison them. What makes this facet special? Is it because we used the magic word slavery and so people suddenly feel guilty because of America's past?
The prisons themselves litreally didn't care enough to even argue against it, which should tell you how little this actually impacts their workforce. My understanding was that people were just getting upset at having to do wildfire related work when things started getting dangerous after they reaped all the rewards and training for that job.
It's like being a firefighter for the pay, chili, and comradery, then balking when you are told to go fight a fire. Your average person could do that and probably be fired on the spot. Prisoners don't get to make that decision.
Wow that was a blast from the past! Still a bit of a banger too!
There's this strange conservative delusion the gun control means no guns. Not allowing fully automatic weapons of war in the hands of citizens is reasonable. Not just letting any random person with a history of violence is reasonable gun control. Making sellers go through the effort to enforce the rules in place instead of subverting it for a sale or their personal beliefs is reasonable.
I'm pretty liberal and I think you should have a right to have a handgun and rifle if you are a competent adult, with the same regulations we use regarding cars. Personally, it's probably wise for women and lgbtq+ to open carry in morr conservative areas for a while.
They didn't do anything about it the last time he was in office and just talked about a replacement plan that never materialized. What makes it seem more likely they'll actually remove it this time?
Serious question. I didn't really mean to make it sounds as snarky as it looks on a reread.
I think we also assume most Mexicans care about the wall when that isn't a factor for the vast majority. Most come and get their court dates and are capable of passing the boarder legally.
Yeah its so rapey, its almost unbelievable.
That only applies in shit states that allow that wage fuckery. There are several states where the minimum doesnt change based on whether the job receives tips.
This is one of the problems with the argument online. Too many off us have different realities around them. Where I'm at they get a pretty healthy minimum (~$17/h) + tips.
Being a waiter at a decent restaurant is quite lucrative in my area. I don't want to change that for the person, after all, the waiter is getting a cut off every check. It's like a form of profit sharing! However, I'd rather just have the prices on the menu reflect reality and the business handle all the dispersion of pay without me and my feelings getting manipulated for an extra 5% (after the previously established 18% tip standard was deemed too low by people who get tipped that for decades.)
Has anyone else noticed Zip-locks have changed?
I've noticed that every product I've bought in the past year with a zip-lock seal is destroyed with common use. I actually think the zip-lock itself has gotten stronger. The bag rips before the seal opens on half the bags now and whenever I try to opens bags I had no issues with before, I find myself stretching/warping the plastic before the seal eventually opens.
It's pretty frustrating and I am seeing it across many products. Cheese bags, storage bags, snacks etc...
