You're not alone, seems like the game has its moment now :)
Disgusting. But KotOR is on sale.
Well, play Skyrim then!
Thank you for writing this. You help me focus my own thoughts about her. I've been angry at her for 10 years now - since her official reaction to the invasion of Ukraine.
None of thaťs helpful. You know, when browser uses half your ram, teams quarter and rest of the programs the rest, windows is swapping on your SSD like a prick and you cannot switch windows - none of what you said helps. And of course, the RAM is soldered on and cannot be expanded.
The guy didn't take his position with violence.
Well he did try that first.
Land and children, tens of thousands of them.
Well until Ukraine starts to do all those things, it's not an escalation, right? I am of the opinion that targeting military infrastructure of the attacker is 100% OK, regardless of it's geographic location. However, general fear is that russia can use the same logic to target Ukraine's suppliers.
Oh come on. There are definitely some people that ruined many lives and - from a certain point of view - would deserve death, but he is not one of them.
What's a shame. No way to report him higher in hierarchy?
Oh, does it?
I'm of the impression this is the same dynamics as seen in other competitive appealing activities where almost anybody can join and dream of becoming famous and rich, like starting a band or a YouTube channel, playing sports and - according to Freakonomics - drug dealing. The profit distribution is extremely skewed towards the top, leaving most of the participants with wages well below average.
Fuck russia.
Unfortunately, that list would be almost complete. It would be much easier (and realistic) to maintain its complement.
Question: Looking for a gif/video - programmer's life played by handyman
update: this is the clip: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AbSehcT19u0 Many thanks to @Krill.
Good day everyone! A long time ago, while working as a full-time programmer, I saw a short funny clip that I could totally identify with and that brilliantly described what daily frustrations programmes face in a way that non-programmers could understand. Description below. Thing is, I was unable to find it since and it frustrates me to no end and is hampering my ability to describe programming work to other people. Though I no longer program for a living, so I should not care. Anyway.
Video description (vague, from failing memory): A handyman reaches for his equipment but finds out it is not plugged in, so he reaches for the plug, only to find it broken. He proceeds to get the replacement / fix from the drawer but its handle breaks and stays in his hand. Bang, final title: the daily life of a programmer.
Or something like that. Please help.
