Oh yeah, my family name isn't that rare, but it's also probably going away locally when I do. I don't mind though, it's an ugly name anyway. My wife didn't take it, her's is much nicer.
Oh! Good find. Looks like the way to do this is by implementing ACTION_GET_CONTENT. I can't help you beyond that (I don't have a dev environment set up and am a novice anyway)
I actually took a quick look at the Android API to see if there was an obvious way to make an app to do this, and as far as I could find, there is not. It might be impossible.
Perhaps you can paste it into an image editor app and then save it as a file?
Pretty sure the media picker can only pick files on Android.
Also if the image was on screen at some point before it was on the clipboard, you could take a screenshot as a rough workaround. Those are also saved as files.

My bloodline ends with me, but I have step kids. So kinda yes, but kinda no more than a typical person whose genes do continue but their story is forgotten eventually.
This really hit me recently when sorting my mom's belongings and finding a ton of photographs of people I don't recognize, and having nobody left to ask about who they were, how/if they were related to me, and what their life was like.

There are unfortunately some subreddits which are still the best place to find timely info about certain topics - for example video game subs run by the developers of the game. Lemmit is a way to subscribe to those while not giving Reddit any more "engagement" or ad views.
The bot that runs Lemmit only posts on its own instance, so users like me only see it when we subscribe explicitly (or the All view I guess, but that's a mixed bag already. Edit: and each user could choose to ban it if they want)
