Comments not appearing in the original instance
Probably I'm missing something but I want to make sure this is not a bug and at least understand the Lemmy behavior.
Turns out that I posted a comment with images in a post from Lemmy.world and for some reason I opened the original post in the Lemmy.world instance and I didn't see my post there.
I thought that it might be a problem of the federation that takes time to retrieve new comments or posts, so I waited for a few hours and my comment is not there yet.
I repeated the same test but sending a comment without images (in case the images could be the problem) and it's happening the same.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
👌🏻 great screenshots

People will keep using Windows 10 even if Microsoft will not fix any vulnerability
I spent hours and hours of my adolescence playing this game.
Probably this game has my personal record of played hours in a game.
I love this news ♥️
Recently I had to decide what laptop I buy and I decided to buy an used Thinkpad T480s for 260€
I was browsing in the Framework and Slimbook websites but the price it's more than three times. It's true that they are new and the Thinkpad is used, but I was looking for Framework and Slimbook in second-hand websites but I didn't find nothing.
I switched to WatchYourLan. It's simpler and I feel I don't need anything else
Is this price 100% legit?
Unfortunately, my region (Spain) is not one of these regions. :/

In my opinion this is a scam.
If you have the MGS HD Collection you can skip this and emulate MGS1 on any device.
You will get the same.
I would suggest add the haptic vibration also for the bottom menu options
I started to develop one tool just a few weeks before Elon announcing API access will not be free. I had to pivot my project to something similar but obviously for a niche.
I did a tool to find your Masotodon friends in Pixelfed (https://findmyfriends.online). That's far way than the initial goal, but honestly I did it to avoid throwing my work to the trash.
I plucked up my courage and I started Resident Evil 2 Remake. I finished Leon part. Doubting if play Claire part or not. Also I finished Inscryption. I'm now trying to finish the Warzone 2 battle pass since It ends in a few days.
I dont like the original, to be honest. But the new one is pretty improvable
Totally agree! I requested it a few weeks ago. For non native people is a fundamental to be able to select text to copy and paste in translator and if the translator is integrated the better
I wish a way to reset time played stats for some games.
I used long time ago a software for mining game cards and that spoiled my time played stats. I regret to do it. But now I cant do nothing to solve it.
It’s true. You are right. I’ve checked Twitter and Instagram and both do the same behavior in bottom bars. I’m a user of both from 2008 and I didn’t realize that you could do like this.
Why? Because there exists other way to do it in both apps (l’ve checked) Why? Because it’s not intuitive.
I love the app. The app is intuitive. I think is great that the feature was requested by users because Apollo did it in the same way.
But, that kind of bottom bars usually are not used like this, long pressing one of the tab options.
I like the feature but it’s not intuitive. There is no indicators that show the user have to long press there. And as a sample you can see this thread.
Just like @radhamantys said, but one important thing: You are not an idiot. This app behavior is not intuitive.

lemmy.ml is going slow and sometimes fails
I'm feeling that lemmy.ml is going slow and sometimes fails to load, voting or posting comments.
I think it's normal due the Reddit migration and the increase in new users.
But, is there any chance of upgrading the server to higher CPU or something needed to gain speed and stability?
