m_f @midwest.social You have to be a little careful with what seems "obvious". Solar roadways had some enthusiasm behind them, but they turned out to have a lot of challenges:

That being said, I can't think of any reason why this is a bad thing. It does seem really obvious with no major drawbacks

Similar to the company that is super keen to put fibre optics through the UK water pipes :|
