Also, damn! That Picard has been playing on chess.com since 2012! I only got into chess in the post-pandemic boom. I wish I had when I was a kid, but I didn't appreciate the game like I do now.

The darker color in tornado alley is green for "no data", which is odd, but I assume it's similar to the darker orange and red around it.

I've had this Star Trek/Airplane! crossover gif sitting in a folder since November last year, but I eventually gave up on figuring out how to edit gifs and post them to Lemmy. Last time I tried to post a gif, some instances couldn't see it, and it was really slow to load for those that could.
But in an effort to join in on "M'Benga Monday" today, I figured I'd try to post it again anyway. It's at least loading quickly in the image preview this time.
