No Goonies, no Godfather, no Star Wars original trilogy
i would be okay with this. we should still preserve games of course, but i wouldn’t mind losing out on those movies
you mean to tell me the guy who spent the last 12 years scamming the shit out of his base has now done something to betray their trust? i’m going to need a minute…..
i hope that afterwards they petition to cancel oracles javascript
can we get another red rectangle around the whole picture please
i personally just put them unpeeled in the fridge and then skip the peeling process entirely when i go to eat them.
instead of peeling them, i smack them on the outside with a spoon to create a crack, then rip the eggs in half. afterwards, i can use the spoon to scoop out the insides of each half. usually takes me way less time than peeling, but im also not very good at peeling
i think that’s giving them too much credit. i would be surprised if the non-critical thinkers even tried to answer the question. i would expect them to deflect/change the topic/rant about something loosely related.
as another person who eats spicy food: i think that after eating lots of spicy foods, all future foods naturally get less spicy. it’s like a food version of karma. people who don’t eat spicy food have lower scores and so the food gets spicier when they eat it.
i’m the war on advent guy. you don’t know how nice you have it
what if i can’t wait that long
we are now getting breaking news from his son’s podcast. he’s not even elected yet
i think that’s fair. it also seems like geometry isn’t taught in the most helpful way in schools, with too much emphasis on memorizing formulas and not enough emphasis on just playing around and seeing what happens. a lot of the geometric formulas come from pretty creative ideas like “what if i cut up this shape in a few different ways and try to piece it back together in a new way”, and that’s not really reflected in most curriculums (in my experience anyway).
and there’s also a pretty deep connection between geometry and algebra, but that doesn’t really get properly mentioned until way later.
i think at the end of the day, in my experience, the problem might be that geometry is just pretty hard in general. most of the time geometric problems get solved by translating them into non-geometric problems and then solving those problems instead. but that practice isn’t very well respected in the way it’s taught. that being said, i still think that playing around with shapes can be kind of cool.
i still don’t even know the order of the alphabet by heart. casting spells is the least of my worries.
speak for yourself but i have used geometry countless times in my daily life as a mathematician
i can’t listen to anything when writing heady stuff or else i get a bad headache. even background sounds in a cafe will cause me pain. so my playlist would be empty and i would definitely get rejected for bad vibes
